Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

1. About this policy

Shift LogPro is owned and managed by LogPro Services ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information we collect

We collect account details (name, email, phone), organisation and billing details, worker profiles and availability, shift records, travel and expense records, signatures, photos and documents uploaded by users. Organisations may record participant information, including health information, which is sensitive information under the Privacy Act.

3. How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you sign up, use the app or contact us, and from your organisation when it adds you as a worker or records participant details. Payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store card numbers.

4. Sensitive and health information

Health and other sensitive information is only collected where it is reasonably necessary to deliver care and support services and with consent, or where otherwise required or authorised by law. Organisations using Shift LogPro are responsible for obtaining participant consent before recording their information.

5. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure the service, manage rosters, shifts, reports and claims, process payments, communicate with you, provide support and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated direct marketing without your consent.

6. Disclosure

Information is only visible to authorised users within your own organisation. We may disclose information to service providers who help us operate the app (such as hosting, email and payment providers), or where required by law. Some providers may store data outside Australia; where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the APPs.

7. Storage and security

Each organisation’s data is kept separate and access is restricted by role. Sensitive files are stored privately and accessed through time-limited secure links. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when no longer needed.

8. Data breaches

If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

9. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You can update much of your information directly in Settings, or contact LogPro Services. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

10. Anonymity

Because the service manages care records, rosters and payments, it is generally not practicable to use Shift LogPro anonymously or under a pseudonym.

11. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact LogPro Services and we will investigate and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au or by phone on 1300 363 992.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
